As a real life abstract artist I live in the United States on the east coast, where my abstracts, mostly digital at the moment, are as diverse as the weather is in this part of the country. A huge home remodel forced me to put away my acrylics, watercolors, pencils, and inks for awhile so I acquired a few painting programs for my computer to use during this time and found myself hooked on them.
In RL I have websites which offer all the digital paintings that you see here in SL and more. Exhibiting over 700 pieces on the site what you see in SL is only a small sampling.

In Second Life I am a resident artist at the East/West Gallery, and exhibit in many places throughout SL, including 2 of my own galleries..
My work is mostly intuitive. When I paint I get lost in the layers of the journey, most times not knowing the destination. I love the excitement of the unexpected, and to the contrary, I love the comfort and security of the expected as well, hence, the diversity in my pieces. My work is a mix of bright bold opaque strokes full of energy and soft, quiet, watery and translucent hues. Some simple, some complex. Layer Upon layer, sometimes up to 20 layers or more of colors, textures and forms.
I love to experiment therefore I don't have one set style. No one ever knows what I might come up with next, including myself!
My mission is to evoke an emotional response using color, form, texture, and movement. I really hope to catch your eye, and then maybe your thoughts, maybe your emotions and fill some part of you with question, with feeling. I hope to stir something even if it's for just a moment.
My goal is to allow you to get lost in the image, to experience it with your own mind.
I have been experimenting with creating objects d'art and art glass using my paintings with very interesting results. To view these pieces visit one of my shops or IM me for info. Also dabbling with putting textures on clothing which is really a lot of fun!
I hope you enjoy my work as much as I enjoy creating it. I am always interested to to hear what the viewer sees and feels so please feel free to IM me or write to me with thoughts or questions. I’m a Catalan artist. My works reflect my concerns and my different moods. They are based on my experiences and express a personal sensitivity nourished by impressions from the external world and my internal world. In this latter sense, I like to call them abstractions of 'mental landscapes'. The works reflect the influences of impressionism, expressionism, abstract expressionism of artists like Jackson Pollock and the informalism among many others.
My creative process is constantly evolving and those changes make it difficult to label my art as one specific style. An idea, a painting, a sketch or a simple random spot can open new ways of artistic research and the exploration of new expressive possibilities.
I usually work with different mediums, oil, watercolor, acrylic, ink, charcoal and pastel.
